Kimberley Bell Nutritionist | Auckland | Takapuna > Consultations > Sport Nutrition

As a registered nutritionist with Nutrition Society NZ, if you are insured with Southern Cross, part of your consultation costs may be covered (please check your plan)

I currently see clients privately from my clinic in Auckland at Kia Kaha Studios, as well as internationally via Skype/Facetime.  I have a holistic, non-diet approach, in the way I work and address health and weight loss concerns by looking at both physical and psychological aspects of nutrition as well as lifestyle factors.

I understand that it is one thing to know what to do, and another to make it work with your lifestyle. Therefore, I place an emphasis on taking into account lifestyle factors such as time, budget, food preferences, and social life when working with each client.

I don’t believe in “diets” and I don’t believe in a “one size fits all” approach as our situations are unique, and we respond so differently to food.

With me, you will receive a highly personalised service, and be guided and supported every step of the way.

Have you been told by your doctor that you need to lose weight or take medication to improve your health markers?

Have you experienced unexplained weight gain or weight loss, and/or sudden onset of tiredness?

Are you a female struggling with hormonal imbalance symptoms such as: PMS, tiredness, acne, hot flashes, sore breast, headaches, weight gain, irregular menstrual cycles, or painful periods?

You don’t need to resort to calorie restricted, boring weight-loss plans, and reliance on medication in order to improve your health. I work with clients using a wholefoods/lower carb, higher healthy fat (LCHF) approach to address the issue from the inside out, in a way thats realistic and enjoyable.

I can help with:

  • Insulin resistance and Type 2 Diabetes
  • Hypo and Hyperthyroid
  • High Cholesterol
  • High Blood Pressure
  • Inflammation
  • Menopause symptoms
  • PCOS
  • Acne
  • Recurring colds

What to expect

In your initial consultation, I spend time getting to know you and going over your pre-screen form in more detail. We discuss your goals, diet history, current situation, and go over any blood work (if available). Using all the information gathered, I’ll help you to map out the key steps that need to be taken to help you achieve your goals, explaining to you exactly WHY you need to make the changes and how it will help you.

At the end of the consultation, I spend time writing up a personalised management plan for you, based on what we discussed in your appointment which you will receive via email within 48hrs of the consultation.

Consultations are in person from an Auckland based clinic. For those of you who are outside of Auckland I offer consultations via Skype, Facetime or phone call.
