Before I started working with Kimberley i was in a consistent battle with my relationship with food. I was trapped in a cycle of what my body wanted to look like and what I wanted my body to look like. This lead to repetitive ‘restric and binge’ cycles. Working with Kimberley, I not only gained expert advice on obtaining a healthy mind and body but I also gained a friend who I trusted and who supported and guided not criticised or judged me. I was working towards a sustainable lifestyle change not a ‘12week challenge’.

I definitely had my highs and lows but Kimberley was always an email or phone call away whenever I needed her. With her holistic approach she not only focuses on healthy eating, she looks at the whole picture, mind and body, to create a healthy mindset and relationship with food.

Even though I still have a way to go, I can confidently say that without Kimberley’s help I would still be in the same rotating cycle with food.

I signed up with Kimberley at the beginning of last year, I was 91kgs and lacked a lot of knowledge about nutrition, especially it’s impact on overall wellbeing.

Kimberley’s knowledge just hit me like a train and everything makes more sense now…I use her recipes every day. Im meal prepping, I’m more mindful of food I buy, I feed myself consistently and snack on normal ‘hunger’ cues.

Currently I weigh 76kgs and I feel the difference. I am no longer a ‘cardio junky’, I’m now learning the benefits of strength training, yoga and meditation. Last night I held for the first time a ‘Crows pose’ I’ve never had the strength to hold my own body like that before!! I know my activity and energy comes from feeding myself the right way.

She has given me a new wind in life and I will always appreciate and valve the wisdom she has given to me.

I am a 24 year old elite triathlete. Everything around what I was eating was a massive stress for me that took over everything in my life. My food plans and what I should eat and shouldn’t have eaten where constantly in my head through the entire day.

Since working with Kim I have been able to change my thinking completely and allow myself permission to consistently eat lots of good food when I need it for training.

I no longer have guilt after my meals and am able to accept that not all days will be perfect even when I am eating well. I constantly was having energy crashes nearly every day. These days my energy is consistent through the day as I am eating to fuel my sessions correctly.

It is such a relief for me to have such a confident and relaxed attitude to food now after years of struggling with this while I have been racing

I met Kimberley at the end of 2018; one of the lowest points of my life. I’d burnt out from the career I loved and therefore couldn’t exercise (another thing I loved) and was struggling with loving myself. Gaining weight is never fun. I’d been inadvertently sucked into the ‘diet culture’ I never wanted to be apart of and without knowing it, had disordered eating.

Over a few weeks, Kimberley helped me repair my relationship with food and stopping unhealthy habits (like ‘pushing through hunger’).

Never once did I feel judged or like I couldn’t share what I was thinking. She commended me for wanting to change at all and for each effort I put toward my new goals. She helped me see that having well-balanced nutrition can be simple to maintain and isn’t unattainable (like many ‘__ week challenges’ out there). I felt that she understood where I was coming from, without her saying to me every 2nd sentence “I know what you mean.” She showed me.

Thoughts still come when I see pictures of how small I used to be compared to how I am now. She was real about that too. My focus turned to combatting those thoughts and looking at things more objectively (like some camera angles are just bad!). I’m grateful that I can listen to my body better, give it what it needs and enjoy experiences with people I love – without dreading seeing the picture at the end.

Kimberley is amazing. She makes you feel SO comfortable – she isn’t into weighing and measuring and fat testing if you’re not comfortable with it – but if you want that – she will do it. But she will also always get to understand where your head is at, works with your mindset around food which is so important and I feel I have made huge progress with that so far since working with her. Cannot recommend her enough! You rock Kimberley!

Kimberley has literally changed my life, she has shown me how to enjoy food again. I have lost weight in the past but this was always at the expense of muscle mass, with Kimberley this is not the case, in fact I have increased muscle. My energy levels are the best they have ever been and I am currently the fittest I have ever been, this is a direct result of the plan Kimberley has in place for me. With Kimberley there is no ‘you must eat this!’ it is more a case of Kimberley knowing what I like and coagulating this with her own knowledge and expertise. I now eat plates full of colour, my grocery bill is greatly reduced and I no longer have diet anger. I don’t see this as a diet as Kimberley has given me a lifestyle change. I would recommend Kimberley to anyone who wants to live healthier

In 2012 I had two surgeries for an abscess on my tailbone, after which I developed adrenal/chronic fatigue from August onward. I had absolutely no energy to attend school and quickly gained weight from being inactive for so long. I was 77kg at my first visit with Kimberley, and by the 3rd month I had lost 10kgs total – without any extra exercise! I also lost the discomfort after eating meals that didn’t suit me, but more importantly for me, I gained a new energy, confidence and an interest in a healthy lifestyle that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Without Kimberley’s guidance I would never have been able to have achieved so much this year but now I have my life back as well as a healthy relationship with food. After surgery in November 2015, I tore a muscle in my hip from overdoing things post surgery. I had no idea it would take so long to heal and as a result of not being able to do the usual levels of exercise I was accustomed to, I packed on 8kgs. I was feeling pretty miserable as my husband and I were also trying to conceive and just weren’t getting anywhere. My physiotherapist recommended seeing a nutritionist and Kimberley was able to squeeze me in which I was so grateful for. The tips and the tailor-made plan she set me up with saw some amazing results. Not only did I steadily lose 8kgs over a couple of months, but my husband and I also conceived 7 weeks after starting the new eating regime. I felt amazing, with so much energy and my clothes felt comfortable again. Kimberley has been a great support as I’ve transitioned into pregnancy and I highly recommend her.
